De solarvloeistof wordt zowel in vacu\u00fcmbuis als in vlakke plaat zonnecollectorsystemen gebruikt. Door zijn fysiologische en ecologische onschadelijkheid voldoet het aan de eisen van DIN 4757 deel 3 en DIN EN 12975 voor solarthermische systemen. Glysofor Solar HT wordt gebruikt als antivriesmiddel, corrosiebeschermingsmiddel en warmteoverdrachtsmedium. Vorstschade, corrosie, afzettingen, dichtslibbing of biofilms worden optimaal voorkomen door Glysofor Solar HT. Het vriespunt van Glysofor Solar HT ligt aanzienlijk lager dan dat van water, wat betekent dat solarsystemen zelfs bij temperaturen onder nul veilig kunnen worden gebruikt. Schade aan het systeem door vorst ten gevolge van een explosief effect wordt met Glysofor Solar HT op betrouwbare wijze vermeden. Door een complexe combinatie van corrosiebeschermende additieven worden metalen optimaal beschermd tegen corrosieve aanvallen. Deze corrosiebescherming is doeltreffend tegen alle metalen die doorgaans worden gebruikt in zonne-installaties. Installaties van koper, messing, soldeer, grijs gietijzer, aluminium, staal en ijzer worden in aanmerking genomen in de corrosiebeschermingsuitrusting, zelfs als het gaat om multimetaalinstallaties.<br \/>\nGlysofor Solar HT is volledig vrij van nitriet, amine, fosfaat, silicaat en boraat. De solarvloeistof is biologisch afbreekbaar en milieuvriendelijk. Glysofor Solar HT is op lange termijn bestand tegen de vorming van biofilms, rotting en microbiologische afbraak op lange termijn, waardoor neerslag en dichtslibbing worden voorkomen. Glysofor Solar HT ontmengt niet, ook niet als er langere systeemonderbrekingen zijn.
